Report on Analysis of Potash Fertilizer Demand in China
Product ID : VSR-143-126
Published Date : Mar 2009
Pages : 125

Overview:

Research Background

The set of reports entail the results from a cooperative research programme with the Chinese

Academy of Sciences

The “Report on Chemical Fertilizer Demand in China(1998-2003)” was released in Nov 2004.

Since then, for several years we have been putting effort into collecting, processing and analyzing data with regard to the demand for different chemical fertilizers by the various agricultural crops in different Region of ChinaIn recent years and at present, updated versions of the “Report on Chemical Fertilizer Demand in China (2002-2008)” continue to be released.

There are four reports in this comprehensive report as follows :

“Report on Analysis of Nitrogenous Fertilizer Demand in China”
“Report on Analysis of Phosphate Fertilizer Demand in China
“Report on Analysis of Potash Fertilizer Demand in China”
“Report on Analysis of Complex Fertilizer Demand in China”
These reports can be purchased singularly or as required.

The set of reports consist of agricultural crops including: grain, cotton, oil-bearing crop, sugar crop, hemp, tobacco, vegetable and fruit etc.

The main chemical fertilizers in this set of reports include: urea, ammonia bicarbonate (ABC), diammonium (DAP), single super phosphate (SSP), muriate of potash (MOP) and compound fertilizers, as well as complex fertilizers (including mixed fertilizer), nitrogenous fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer etc.

The contents and characteristics of the old versions of this set of reports are carried through in the new one, these :

(1) Present the changes in plantation area of a variety of agricultural crops by provinces
(2000-2007).
(2) Use GIS to display, with a color map, the spatial distribution of key agricultural crops by
county
(3) Present the changes in per unit area applied quantity of different chemical fertilizers for
various agricultural crops by region in China (2000-2007).
(4) Present the changes in total demand for different chemical fertilizers for the various
agricultural crops by Region in China (2000-2007).
(5) Use GIS to compile a map of the demand for nitrogenous fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer
and potash fertilizer by county based on the regional data of China.

Besides that mentioned above, new data has been added this :

(1) Presents the changes in total demand for different chemical fertilizers by region.
(2) Presents the changes in total demand for different chemical fertilizers for various
agricultural crops.
(3) Uses GIS technology to compile a spatial distribution map of various chemical fertilizer
enterprises producing nitrogenous fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer,
urea, ammonia bicarbonate (ABC) etc.
(4) Analyzes the characteristics and changes in the production process of key chemical
fertilizer enterprises for various chemical fertilizers (2002-2008).
(5) Presents the fundamental characteristics of supply and demand and the change in prices
of nitrogenous fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer in China in 2008.
(6) Presents the basic situation and predicts trends for the changing prices of nitrogenous
fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer in China in 2009.
