In March 2010, Emerging Metals Limited disposed its entire 50% holdings in Kalahari Minerals plc to Nippon Uranium Resources (Australia) Proprietary Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Itochu Corporation. Kalahari’s subsidiary, Kalahari Uranium Limited, holds a 40.41% interest in  Extract Resources Ltd
