Summary

The operators of Draupne and Luno are evaluating whether to develop these fields independently or as a part of common development. A common (joint) development would mean that there will be sharing of costs as well as infrastructure which consequently reduces and paves the way for a better management of risk for the companies in the form of reduced operating and other costs. It would also ensure a better management of the post production activities that include abandoning and decommissioning.
