Chinas Grain Market Analysis and Forecast Report (2010-2011)
Product ID : VSR-468-576
Published Date : Dec 2010

Overview:

This report includes: rice, corn, wheat and barley

The major changes characteristics of China’s grain Market in 2010 were:
1 the cost of planting grain has generally moved up due to an increase in labor cost.
2 Grain output dropped largely in the southwest due to the drought, and grain output fell back slightly in some areas thanks to flood and cold spell.
3 Corn imports rose sharply, China has become a net importer of corn; wheat imports largely increased from Kazakhstan, rice imports surged from Vietnamese; barley import increased sharply with large reduction on production.
4 Wheat, corn and rice prices all rose substantially influenced by national purchasing and storage, shortage in the market, changes in international markets, etc.

This report is based on the data from the first information collected, processed and arranged by our company, and a series of authoritative organizations, such as the State Administration of Grain, Bureau of Statistics, Customs General Administration, China Grain Association, the national Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Commerce, and meanwhile combined with information in domestic and international newspapers and magazines to analyze the reasoning.

By analyzing the production, consumption, import and export, cost-benefit, and policy factors of China’s grain in recent years, the report objectively evaluates the characteristics and causes of China’s rice, corn, wheat and barley market changes in 2010, also analyzes and forecasts the changes of supply-demand and markets of China's grain in 2011.
