In August, China's corn product industry is not quiet. Chinese government eliminates some inefficient capacity, involving MSG, citric acid and alcohol industries. Also, corn is a target in the three policies to curb price rise of agricultural products issued by the government. However, government’s market-oriented measures seem to be not powerful enough to restrain corn price rise as corn stock may be in shortage, thus administrative means then become the replacement.
